I wasn’t making any new posts or pages recently and my views were declining. I was freaking out. So after awhile of getting 2 views tops I went and made a couple updates, edited a few pages and added a few posts. My views went back up to 20+ a day. This going to show that you have to keep your posts current and keep posting.

If you wanna know what it’s like running Win Vista then check out these steps, but first I want to say that I love using Firefox, its fast and renders all the webpages just fine. But anyway:
Download Firefox 3 Beta 5 and run it. Make sure you don’t set it as the defualt browser!
To do this you will have to have the following: A dimdim account, another computer or a different internet browser than the one your going to do Join Meeting on at Dimdim. On that other computer or internet browser go to dimdim and login. Now host a meeting filling the box “Meeting Name” as the same as your username. Now go to dimdim.com and click Join Meeting. Put the box “Email” as your user/email and the box “Meeting Room” as your user/email address. Once you’ve get everything right then click “Join”. Now there you should see a window checking your browser, internet etc. Now it should ask you to install a Dimdim plugin. Install it. It doesn’t work right? Now you know what the people that rubn Vista feel like!
I am currently running a Dimdim webmeeting. It’s pretty cool. It looks a little klunky but overall it’s pretty cool. It doesn’t “drop calls” like Skype, I can see their screen and they can hear me but they can’t see me. I can see and hear them via their webcam though. Overall It’s pretty cool. It doesn’t take up a lot of CPU usage either so I can be doing more than one thing at a time.
I’ve been noticing that when I got to my feeds: Linux Blogs, Microsoft Blogs and Apple Blogs, that I haven’t been seeing as many good posts as I have in the past. I don’t know why but that’s just how it is I guess. There’s a lot of hype about Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, Ubuntu in general and Win XP SP3. That’s really not ground braking stuff. The only way people will keep comming back to your website is if you 1. Have something unique, 2. You are a really interesting blogger 3. You are keeping all your posts up-to-date and keeping them on subject. Basically the same thing as reason 2. I really don’t have anything totally awesome or unique, yet I have gotten 300 views and counting, all unique! Now why? Why am I getting this many? If I’ve get nothing totally awesome and/or ground breaking then why am I getting so many views? The answer is: I don’t know. You do.
I made a website at Freewebs.com for my discussiong group Technology Discussion. I expected the boring, limited feature, Freewebs I used to use. I was totally shocked. Freewebs doesn’t have all the features that WordPress has and it puts ads on your page but it’s really impriving, Fast.
Despite Firefox 2 (and 3 beta 5) not passing the Acid 3 tests (Firefox 3 beta 5 passed the 1st and 2nd acid tests, not Firefox 2) I finally got it stable. If you’ve been reading my page IE7 V.S Mozilla Firefox you would know that I was having problems with Firefox. The problems were that I couldn’t check my email, or log into any Yahoo! service, without Firefox crashing. You would also know, if you have been reading my page IE7 V.S Mozilla Firefox, that I downloaded SpywareBlaster yesterday and it blocked the add-on that was crashing Firefox whenever I checked my email. So thanks to SpywareBlaster Firefox is now stable for me. Before I had SpywareBlaster I blogged and read websites in Firefox and then went to IE7 to check my email. That was not fun. So I’m very happy that Firefox is stable for me.
I had this huge post on a PC Magazine forum and Firefox crashed losing all me work I just typed up! I’m just about ready to go back to IE7. When IE8 comes out I think I’m moving back.
So what if Microsoft’s ending support for Windows XP soon, there are probably about 1,000,000,000+ websites that have tips and tricks and support for XP on the net. Nice try Microsoft.
The only reason Microsoft’s getting rid of XP is because they’re hoping that it will force Vista down the throats of the econonmy.

I’m getting tired of Firefox crashing, it’s gotten to the point where I can’t check my email because when I log out Firefox crashes, and I can’t go to zinio.com and read a magazine because Firefox will crash as soon as I get to zinio.com. Now I’m juggling between Firefox and IE7 and it’s not fun. Hopefully this problem will be fixed in Firefox 3.
Microsoft is set to discontinue XP on June 30, 2008, follow this link below and complete this petition. Hopefully, if enough people complete this petition, Microsoft will decide not to discontinue XP due to the fact that so many people like it.

Firefox has been crashing every time I log out of my email and I couldn’t figure out why. The reason was the Yahoo! homepage. Whenever I visit it Firefox crashes. That’s odd.
